Mozilla Firefox browser version 3 is ready for public
Mozilla said that a new version
of its popular Internet browser,
Firefox is ready to be
downloaded from the network,
with improvements in security
and memory usage, in an effort
to give small businesses a blow
to the dominant agenda Internet
Explorer from Microsoft Corp..
The creators Firefox 3 told
Reuters on Thursday that the
trial version of the browser is
ready for public use after
months of development.
"In many ways (Firefox 3) is
much more stable than any
other," said the vice president
of engineering Mozilla Corp.,
Mike Schroepfer, in an
interview.
Firefox key rivals are the
market leader Microsoft Internet
Explorer and Apple's Safari
browser Inc..
Mozilla engineers are still
putting the final touches to the
software and expect to launch
the final version of Firefox 3
towards the end of June, said
Schroepfer.
The supplements improved safety
and the program uses less
computer memory than Firefox 2.
So far deterred Mozilla users
who are not programmers who
wanted to upgrade Firefox 2, but
now those responsible said that
the situation has changed and
that revised its website.
